Job Description:

A thriving real-estate investment and development firm located in Yonkers, NY 10701 is actively seeking a property accountant to support their accounting and finance team. The accountant will report directly to the controller and compensation is up to 90K+bonus. This role provides great work life balance with a friendly team environment.
The ideal property accountant holds the following credentials:

• BS in Accounting from an accredited university/college
• 3+ Years of real estate accounting experience
• Strong computer skills including Excel (ability to create formulas in excel)
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize, and multi-task under pressure
• Existing knowledge of MRI
  The day-to-day responsibilities are as followed, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare/analyze financial statements
  • Develop budgets and forecasts
  • Accruals, Journal entries, month-end close
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Fixed assets, depreciation, amortization
