  • Access to 403(b) retirement benefits and a pension ABOUT THE JOB Goldsmith Center is a Residential Treatment Facility that serves emotionally vulnerable boys ages 12-21, who are challenged by trauma-related and psychiatric issues. The RTFs provide supervised living units and programs of therapeutic and educational services that emphasize family interaction and strengthening of community support networks. The Jewish Board is seeking an Administrator on duty at our Westchester location. An Admin on Duty, is an essential administrator responsible for the supervision and guidance of all milieu staff, ensuring that proper coverage is maintained and that all program staff and clients are accounted for and the milieu is safe and violence free. As an integral part of the treatment team, the AOD will ensure that all necessary therapeutic interventions determined by the clinical team are carried out. The Administrator on Duty (AOD) will be responsible for ensuring client safety and the security of the program's grounds, cottages, buildings, and offices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Direct oversight of day to day operations of the program
    • Regularly inspect the grounds of the facility, including parking facilities, vehicles, non-residential buildings to ensure that no unauthorized persons, activities or immediately hazardous conditions exist.
    • Immediately inform the director, supervisor, or the employee designated as being in charge of the facility of any irregularities noted
    • Assist counselors in emergency resident care situations. Such assistance may include the therapeutic hold of a child or Emergency Safety Intervention (ESI), if needed, or to request additional help through radio, phone, or direct contact. TO QUALIFY: The Jewish Board is currently looking for talented professionals of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:
      • BA/S in a related field with a minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a residential setting OR a HSD/HSED with a minimum of 5 years working in a residential setting.
