We are located in Westchester County - Valhalla, NY. -Job DescriptionGrande Cosmetics is looking for a strong video editor to edit videos contained in our library and to edit in house content from our shoots. The Video Editor is responsible for creating video edits for social media, product pages, retail sites and more. The video editor will be tasked with creating a variety of content including but not limited to UGC Tik Tok style videos, campaign videos, social cutdowns, and before and after clips. -In addition, the video editor will work closely with the Video Content Producers, Marketing Manager and Creative Director to maintain a cohesive brand vision. - -Job Responsibilities -

• Edit backlog of old content for repurposing independently
• Edit social content, website videos and videos for external sources
• Color correcting, motion tracking and editing videos from start to finish
• Participate in marketing brainstorm sessions
• Looking through testimonial video and picking out the best clips
• Organize, transfer and upload raw footage
• Following a script, screenplay or outline
• Input sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
• Improve and correct lighting, coloring and faulty footage
• Work closely with directors to present a final product that matches his or her vision -Skills and Qualifications - - - - - - - - -Premiere pro expertise with a working knowledge of after effects - - - - - - - - -Beauty experience preferred - - - - - - - - -Ability to pivot and change priorities often - - - - - - - - -Strong use of Text, MOGART files, motion graphics files - - - - - - - - -Eye for storytelling - - - - - - - - -Brainstorm Ideas - - - - - - - - -Ability to work independently and as a team - - - - - - - - -Maintain brand identity and build upon it - - - - - - - - -Training in multimedia and communications helpful - - - - - - - - -General understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology - - - - - - - - -Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements -Hybrid work schedule: 2 days in office, remainder remote
