Responsibilities include the following: Examining customer vehicles. Identifying necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance. Estimating cost of repairs. Performing vehicle repairs and maintenance. Documenting services performed. Performing services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines. Following dealership and manufacturer service guidelines. Requesting necessary parts. Maintaining CSI (Customer Service Index) at or above Company standards Maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area Participating in required training Recording all hours worked accurately in Company timekeeping system Following all Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrating the Company’s Core Values Complying with Company policies and procedures Observing all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge. Technical training or commensurate technical experience required. Certificates and Licenses Valid Insurable Driver’s License General Motors Experience Preferred Computer Skills: Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system. Communication Skills: Ability to understand and following instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. Verbal and Writing Ability: Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
