School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
long-term substitute position is available for a School
Psychologist to cover maternity leave for the remainder of the
2025/2026 school year. This role is based in a middle school
setting, serving grades 6 through 8, and offers an engaging
opportunity to apply your expertise in a supportive educational
environment. Location: New Haven, CT Position: Long-Term Substitute
School Psychologist Duration: Approximately 6-8 weeks, starting
ASAP Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 3:00 PM Caseload: Middle
School (6th to 8th Grade) Key Responsibilities: Conduct
psycho-educational assessments and testing to support student
learning and development. Participate actively in Planning and
Placement Team (PPT) meetings to develop and review individualized
education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers, administrators,
and families to provide comprehensive psychological services
tailored to student needs. Maintain accurate records and
documentation in compliance with district policies and guidelines.
Support students social-emotional and behavioral development
through data-driven interventions. Desired Qualifications: Valid
certification/licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience
working within a school setting, preferably with middle school
students. Proficiency in conducting assessments, writing reports,
and presenting findings clearly. Strong communication and
collaborative skills. Ability to manage caseloads effectively under
pressure and within deadlines. This contract role offers a
