Job Description:
Civil Engineering firm located in northern Westchester County
has an immediate opening for a NYS Licensed Professional Engineer
to oversee its day to day operations. Cronin Engineering is an
established Consulting Civil Engineering firm serving developers
and municipalities in the lower Hudson Valley for over 40
years.Cronin Engineering specializes in small to moderate sized
civil engineering projects, which require problem solving and
decision making on a daily basis. Project types include residential
and commercial site plans, subdivisions, preparation of SWPPP
inspections & reports, site inspections and construction
monitoring, fa--ade inspections, design of municipal infrastructure
improvements and backflow prevention design & applications. The
individual must be enthusiastic & insightful with good verbal,
graphic and written skills.The individual we are seeking should
have had the PE license for at least 5 to 7 years and have a total
of 8 to 10 years of related experience which also includes the
management of office staff. It will be necessary for the PE to work
with a team of engineers and designers in the completion of
projects from conceptual sketches through to the design and final
review process. This will include correspondence and meetings with
private clients, municipal officials, and construction monitoring.
Duties also include communication and coordination with engineers
on a project, checking teams work for accuracy and making
determinations for equipment and staff.The PE must also have
experience with the New York City Local Law 11 regarding Building
Fa--ade Inspection and Safety Program (FISP) and be familiar with
the NYC DOB filing requirements. The PE must have the relevant
experience to be a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI).Contact
