Job Description:
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are at the forefront of
revolutionizing cloud computing platforms. We are currently seeking
a seasoned Controls Engineer to join our Deployment team within
Data Center Capacity Delivery. This role is crucial for ensuring
the successful deployment and operation of AWS data centers
globally, integrating complex control systems that align with AWS's
high standards for reliability and efficiency. As a Controls
Engineer, you will help design and implement the mechanical,
electrical, and control systems necessary to sustain and expand our
infrastructure, ensuring optimal and uninterrupted service for our
diverse clientele. Design, test, and implement HVAC, electrical,
and other control systems to enhance data center efficiency and
reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and
refine system requirements and design specifications. Monitor
system performance, troubleshoot issues and provide engineering
solutions to optimize data center operations. Ensure compliance
with local and international engineering standards and building
codes. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks
based on departmental goals and operational necessities. Strong
expertise in control systems for HVAC and electrical
infrastructure. Proficient in using design and analysis software
such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. Solid understanding of network
hardware, protocols, and standards related to control systems.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.

Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
