The Tropicana Brands Group Customer Manager will be responsible for
leading the account management responsibilities associated with
Stater Brothers, Smart & Final, Gelson's and URM in Southern
California.
Overall duties include participation in annual planning, business
reviews (QBP Process), Joint Business Planning (JBP's),
reporting/trade management, and account administration representing
Tropicana Brands Group within assigned customers. This role will
also require strong project/time management skills coupled with
strong interpersonal skills to handle multiple priorities and
objectives aimed at meeting the customer assigned annual growth
targets.
This role is based out of home office in the Southern California
market.
Responsibilities Include:
Represent Tropicana Brands Group (i.e.; Chilled and Premium Juice
portfolio of brands) at Stater Brothers, Smart & Final, Gelson's,
and URM.
Deliver annual profit, volume, share, and trade spending
targets.
On-going analysis and review of business trends to identify gaps to
plan and execution.
Participate in Annual Operating Plan & Forecast process,
collaborating with Finance, Sales Strategy, and Demand
Planning.
Drive Execution (Features, Displays, Assortment, New Items, Shopper
Marketing Opportunities)
Lead internal QBP's (Quarterly Business Plans) and external JBP's
(Joint Business Planning) meetings with strategic customers.
Maintenance of Financial Event Planner. Leverage Excel modeling to
analyze financials, valuation, and alternate scenarios.
Develop annual promotion plan while adhering to Strategic Role of
Trade (SROT) guidelines and ensure flawless execution through
consistent customer engagement and buy-in.
Collaboration with functional areas including finance, strategy,
category management, marketing, GBS, Customer Service/Supply Chain
& partner with PepsiCo on joint merchandising opportunities.
Make regular headquarter buyer calls, identify customer
needs/priorities and creating fact-based selling presentations.
Ensure customer maintains a strategic product mix through SKU
optimization -- both new item sell-in and/or existing SKU
optimization.
Actively participate in customer payment processing including
financial contracts, performance and collection.
Manage all field touch-points with respect to TBG including
partnering with Pepsi DSD on execution, financials and performance
at select retailers on Naked Juice and/or KeVita.
