Sr. Manager, Analytics & Insights Sr. Manager of Analytics & Insights is responsible for end-to-end delivery of complex data analytics projects in the area of customer segmentation and profiling, propensity modeling for target marketing, insights driven BI analytics, and multi-channel campaign analytics. This role must provide action-oriented analytical support across wide variety of marketing projects, from pre-planning to post-deployment stages. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and business acumen backed by hands-on knowledge in the field of advanced analytics, to ensure consistent and timely delivery of actionable insights. This position demands extensive knowledge in advanced analytics and database marketing operations. It is required to work directly with clients, helping to design the most efficient data and analytics roadmap for marketing decision support and targeting activities through multiple marketing channels. Responsibilities:Come up with problem statements based on initial client meeting and follow-up discovery sessions.Complete ideation of solutions in forms of tangible analytical projects and develop marketable proposals; check feasibility of solution from both data and capability standpoints.Design specific ways of delivering solutions; procure internal and external resources best fit for successful execution.Supervise internal and external analytics resources in defining project scope and deliverables, and translating them into project specifications for the delivery teams.Guide colleagues and junior consultants in terms of prescribing suitable solutions with an understanding in limitations of toolsets and available data.Help defining targets and analytical universe for statistical modeling; define goals and parameters for segmentation efforts.Act as a project manager, from stages of project development to execution; set key milestones for the projects and manage client expectations during the critical delivery phase. Standardize repeatable processes; create templates for major KPI's, reports and visual presentations.Interpret analytical results and provide insights; provide ideas regarding recommendations and next steps.Audit deliverables by internal and external analytics teams ensuring accuracy by critically examining the data and reports against requirements.Onboard new analysts and train them not only for technical skills, but also business aspects of client-facing analytics.Requirements:BS/BA degree and equivalent professional experience; MBA or advanced degree in statistics or quantitative analysis preferred.4-5 years of hands-on experience in the field of advanced analytics.Strong critical thinking, problem solving and creative analytical skills.Hands-on experience in digital, 1:1 marketing, database marketing and CRM.Strong analytical and storytelling skills; ability to derive relevant insights from large reports and piles of disparate data.Working knowledge of analytical/statistical techniques and their applications in marketing practice.Experience in working with diverse types of large datasets (e.g., transaction data, behavioral data, online data, demographic data, firmographic data, promotion/response data, etc.).Understanding of data manipulation technologies and data platforms; experience inStatistical modeling tools (R, Python, SAS, etc.) Data platforms (SQL server, Oracle, various cloud-based platforms, etc.)Working knowledge in data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, etc.Excellent communications skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain English.Strong interpersonal skills, interacting with clients including senior executives, marketing managers, and technical specialists.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, aligning resources to project timelines and ensuring quality of deliverables.Passion for data and analytics for marketing.Strong business acumen, comfortable working autonomously with broad guidelines.Ability to streamline complex processes.Willingness to travel for new business pitches and client presentations.
