Excellence for AI/ML, you will report to the Associate Director,
Programs & Engagement, and work with members of the shinrAI team,
this role will provide project management leadership and support
and execute initiatives related to shinrAI center operations,
onsite events, processes, best practices and the ADSL culture and
goals.How you will contribute:
- Lead project management of ongoing activities of the 3 pillars
in the shinrAI Center: Engage, Evaluate and Execute
- Assign tasks to project team leads and ensure that team members
are adhering to project timelines
- Streamline current processes as needed to enable more efficient
processes and communication amongst the team
- Support head of shinrAI Center in creating an effective
engagement model
- Provide Project Management Support for Events:
- Lead project management of in-person and hybrid events
(including bi-annual AI Symposiums, AI/ML Speaker Series,
educational seminars) including delegation of tasks to team
members, working with leadership for agenda creation and content.
Monitor adherence to budget and timeline
- Support communications lead with communication activities.
Monitor adherence to timeline.
- Work and communicate with internal and external vendors for
event planning purposes and disseminating information accordingly
to appropriate individuals
- Manage contracts process for external speakers and vendors.
-Provide Project Management Support for AI/ML Education/Training:
- Lead project management of in-person and hybrid trainings
- Support launch of new software platform
- Help to gain metrics on educational resources/training
internally
- Support education lead with event organization, communications,
and management as needed. -Collect metrics/data for impact of
Center
- Create and maintain regular reports to show impact of the
Center
- Gain metrics/data from each of the pillar leads and into impact
report (quarterly, bi-annual?)Streamline Center Processes as needed
- Create lessons learned from events, trainings, processes in
order to make current operations/processes more efficientMinimum
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in business
operations/administration and/or project management; some
experience in biotech/pharma is preferred.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in a
cross-functional matrix organization.
- Experience and fluency in relevant operations and project
management-associated software and IT systems; SharePoint and
SmartSheets experience preferred.
- Experience-based knowledge of relevant business operations
processes and ability to navigate business operations support
functions.
- Experience coordinating business processes among multiple
stakeholders, developing communications developing team culture,
and familiarity with matrix-based organizations.
- Leadership-Able to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
and from diverse backgrounds, and to communicate successfully with
cross-functional teams in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Teamwork - Able to work well in a highly cross-functional team
environment, and work effectively with decentralized teams and
maintain working relationships with limited face to face
interaction.
- Communication - Able to expresses ideas and concepts clearly
and concisely within the team; documents issues and/or concerns
concisely; timely and effectively communicate issues to supervisor
and team members.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills - Able to troubleshoot
critical issues or problems, determine causes and determine and
implement solutions.

prioritization skills and can successfully manage multiple tasks,
sometimes with competing priorities. Works proactively to manage
multiple tasks of varied complexity and can switch as needed
between tasks to manage workload appropriately and
efficiently.
