It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.SummaryWe are currently seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to work for our expanding after-hours pediatric urgent care practices on a full-time basis.DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assessing pediatric patientsAdministering oral, rectal, intramuscular and intravenous medicationsAssisting in proceduresPerforming pediatric venipuncture, IV insertion, and maintenanceObtaining sterile specimen via urinary catheterizationRemaining knowledgeable in pediatric pharmacologyUtilizing critical thinkingWorking well with the interdisciplinary PM Pediatrics teamQualificationsPediatric experience is requiredActive state nursing licensePrior experience and competency with nursing procedures (not limited to, IV placement, urinary straight catheterization, and medication administration)Pediatric Emergency Room, Pediatric Hospital Unit or Pediatrics Urgent Care experience preferredBasic Life Support certification is required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is a plusWeekend and evening availability required.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!EEO StatementPM Pediatrics is an equal employment opportunity employer.
