Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for hospitalized patients Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting plans as needed Provide medical nutrition therapy for a variety of patient populations, including critical care, surgical, cardiac, renal, and oncology Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers Document all patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely and accurate manner Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and staff as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and professional standards of practice Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (Master’s preferred) Current Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York Inpatient clinical experience preferred, but new graduates with strong internship experience are welcome and encouraged to apply Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Commitment to patient-centered care What We Offer: Union position with pension plan Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (vacation, sick, and holidays) Supportive orientation and training for new grads Your Recruiter: Abby Haskell Lead Dietitian Recruiter Website: Email: Office: / Text: Novo Connections Job ID 2019.
