Westchester County, New York, Infectious Disease JobPosition
Overview Type: Permanent, full-time Location: Yonkers, NY
(Community-based hospital) Role: Inpatient & outpatient infectious
disease physician with academic opportunities Key Responsibilities
Perform inpatient infectious disease consultations (medicine,
surgery, ICU, long-term care) Staff 1-2 half-day outpatient clinics
per week Provide remote telemedicine coverage for off-site
facilities Participate in antimicrobial stewardship & infection
control initiatives Share call responsibilities (1 weeknight per
week 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks) Teach medical residents and
students; potential academic appointment Option to participate in
research & quality improvement projects Schedule Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (flexible based on coverage) Clinic: 1-2
half days weekly Call: Shared rotation; telemedicine available
Qualifications MD/DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in
Infectious Disease Eligible for NY medical license & DEA Strong
clinical & diagnostic skills; teaching interest a plus Inpatient &
outpatient experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Base
Salary: $250K-$275K (commensurate with experience) Full benefits:
