Location: Bronx, NY (10451) Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with
possibility of extension) Schedule: Day Shift Shift Options: 9:00
AM – 5:30 PM 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $44–$53 per hour Position
Summary We are seeking a Registered Dietitian for a contract
assignment in an acute care hospital setting in the Bronx, NY area.
The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient nutrition
services and working with dialysis patients , providing
evidence-based nutritional assessment, counseling, and care
coordination. Key Responsibilities Screen and assess patients’
nutritional status in an accurate and timely manner Determine
nutritional needs based on medical condition, lab results, and
level of care Monitor and educate patients on food–drug
interactions and document education provided Consult with
physicians and healthcare teams regarding diet modifications
Interview patients and families to assess dietary habits,
preferences, and nutritional history Interpret laboratory values,
physical findings, and social data relevant to nutrition care
Provide individualized nutrition education and document patient
understanding Modify patient menus and diet plans as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic
medical record (EMR) Required Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of
Registered Dietitian experience Experience in acute care or
outpatient nutrition services Strong assessment, documentation, and
