Location: Bronx, NY 10451 Assignment Type: Contract / Travel or
Local Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: Local: Up to $1,900
gross weekly Traveler: Up to $2,400 gross weekly Job Overview We
are seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian to provide
comprehensive nutritional care and education to patients in an
acute care setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely
with physicians and healthcare teams to assess nutritional needs,
develop appropriate care plans, and support positive patient
outcomes. Key Responsibilities Monitor patients and provide
education on food and medication interactions Accurately document
food and drug interactions in patient education records Consult
with physicians regarding appropriate diet modifications Screen and
assess patients based on level of care to determine nutritional
needs Provide follow-up nutritional care and ongoing patient
monitoring Interview patients and/or family members to gather
dietary history and preferences Interpret laboratory results,
physical assessments, and social data related to nutrition Deliver
nutrition education and document patient understanding of dietary
instructions Modify patient menus as clinically indicated Required
Experience Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
Education & Licensure Requirements Graduate of an accredited
college or university with a degree in Dietetics or Foods &
Nutrition New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist
Certification must be issued by the New York State Education
