American Medical Response (AMR) is actively seeking a dedicated Special Events EMT to join our team, providing essential medical support at various public and private events. As part of AMR, a leader in medical transportation services, this role involves rapid response capabilities and adept management of medical emergencies in dynamic event settings. This position requires a highly professional and proactive approach to health services, ensuring the safety and well-being of event participants at all times. Provide immediate medical response at special events. Assess injuries and administer appropriate medical care. Coordinate with event organizers and public safety officials to ensure preparedness and emergency management protocols are followed. Maintain a fully stocked and operational medical kit. Document medical interventions and patient outcomes clearly. Conduct pre-event safety assessments and participate in planning meetings. Stay updated with current emergency practices and protocols. Proficiency in emergency medical techniques and protocols Ability to operate under stress and in high-pressure situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and quick decision-making Physical endurance to perform tasks at large events Experience with medical software for patient documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current EMT certification CPR and BLS certification Valid state driver’s license
