Software Engineer VP – Securitized Products. At Barclays, our

directly with Trading and Sales as part of a high?performing team
focused on delivering a best?in?class platform that supports all
Securitized Products business workflows, leveraging Java, Angular,
and AWS. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to take a

environment. To be successful as a Senior Full Stack Software
Engineer VP – Securitized Products, you should: Have expertise as a
programmer with a passion for clean, efficient code using Object
Oriented Design principals Exhibit advanced Java skills with a
thorough understanding of multi-threading Possess advanced
experience working with AWS and related technologies such as ECS,
EKS, Kafka Possess experience of Angular coding and Web Socket
implementation for real time systems Experience using Mongo DB to
efficiently work with large data sets Other highly valued skills
include: Guiding and supporting junior developers Knowledge of
creating CI/CD pipelines and implementing automated testing
Understanding of Fixed Income products and Electronic Trading
workflows Experience with frameworks such as Springboot & Guice You
may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in
role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation,
business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as
well as job-specific technical skills. This role is located in our
Whippany, NJ or New York, NY office. Salary for Whippany, NJ:
Minimum Salary: $170,000 Maximum Salary: $230,000 The minimum and
maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or
base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of
compensation or benefits that may be available. Barclays employees

This position is eligible for an incentive award. Salary for New
York, NY: Minimum Salary: $170,000 Maximum Salary: $230,000 The
minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base
salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of
compensation or benefits that may be available. Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various
engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and
technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities Development and delivery of high-quality software
solutions by using industry aligned programming languages,
frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable,
maintainable, and optimized for performance. Cross-functional
collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers
to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and
ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote
a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Stay informed of
industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute
to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of
technical excellence and growth. Adherence to secure coding
practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and
ensure secure software solutions. Implementation of effective unit
testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and
