Supply Technician Philadelphia, PA and Carderoc, MD Spectrum Comm is currently sourcing for a talented Material Handler to provide clerical and physical tasks in connection with Shipping and Receiving at our customer site in Philadelphia, PA or Carderoc, MD. Responsibilities: Perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with receiving, managing, and shipping goods; recording transactions into automated systems such as Navy ERP or Microsoft Office Direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received. Verify the correctness of incoming and outgoing shipments. Comparing items and quantities unloaded or received against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records Check for damaged goods Ensures all goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment Operates a light truck (Straight truck, less than 1 1/2 tons, and usually 4 wheels), passenger vehicle and manually controlled forklift to transport goods and materials of all kinds on base and about a storage facility Minimum Qualifications: Eligibility for DoD Secret Clearance 2 years of related Naval or DoD Supply Chain/Logistics and warehousing experience Preferred Certifications: Active DoD Secret Clearance Forklift Operators Certification Spectrum is proud of our diverse workforce and diligently committed to remaining an Equal Opportunity Employer.
