Additionally, we have a well-developed private label business and growing brand business.Job DescriptionOur company is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate with 2 to 3 years related experience to join our A/P team. The A/P Associate will be responsible for:Collect, verify through proper approvals, and process physical and electronic invoices and debit / credit memos, ensuring proper coding and expense allocations to general ledger accounts.Pay vendors by scheduling payments in a timely manner and consistent with company protocols.Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos and deposits.Maintain historical records by ensuring documents are filed in a timely manner.Interact and communicate with vendors as needed.QualificationsHighly organized.Must have suitable attention to detail and be thorough.Must be able to analyze information.Must have previous accounting software experience, Great Plains Dynamics a plus.Basic accounting knowledge.Vendor relationships.PC proficient, especially in excel.Good data entry skills.General math skills.Additional InformationThe company offers competitive salary and benefits.
