This position is onsite and will require to and from other
hospitals in the area.
In-depth Understanding of the Following: -
Microsoft Office Suite.
Mac OS and hardware as well as iOS experience.
Mobile device management, including Android and iOS operating
systems.
Active Directory and Group Policy.
Network topology, protocols.
The Desktop Support Specialist II provides quality support with a
high degree of customer service, while diagnosing and resolving
level 2 and level 3 user issues, upgrading equipment and hardware,
and installing applications. -The Desktop Support Specialist II
provides high level technical expertise, and timeliness while
serving as an escalation point for more complex issues and acts as
a customer advocate in the resolution of their incidents and
requests. The Desktop Support Specialist II performs the
installation, repair and preventative maintenance of desktop and
laptop computers, attached peripherals and related systems,
including printers, scanners and mobile devices. They are also
responsible for advanced troubleshooting and resolving/escalating
application issues on those devices. The Level II Specialist will
serve as a senior member of the Desktop Support staff, mentoring
team members as needed. -The Desktop Support Specialist II reports
to the Desktop Support Manager. -The Desktop Support Specialist II
provides outstanding client service and contributes to the
organization's mission of utilizing information technology to
improve patient care.
