CNBC Digital Video is looking for a business-news obsessed
associate producer for its News and Programming team, to assist in
the cryptocurrency-focused franchise, "CNBC Crypto World." The role
requires scripting and editing original videos while working under
tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, disciplined and tech-savvy
producer who can work in a fast-paced daily-news environment and
collaborate across several different departments within CNBC. The
associate producer's main responsibilities will include scripting
and editing of digital original videos.
What you'll do:
Assist producers with the production of a daily, digital-first news
show
Pitch, produce and edit original videos on cryptocurrencies and
related industries
Craft compelling and accurate headlines and descriptions for videos
appearing on CNBC.com and other platforms
Work on daily assignments at direction of the Managing Producer of
Crypto World and the Supervising Producer of News and
Programming

What you'll bring:
At least one of year of experience with all aspects of digital
video production including shooting, editing, lighting, and
scripting
Proficiency of DSLR cameras (Canon, Sony, Panasonic), Adobe
Premiere, and other industry-standard equipment and tools
Script and/or voice-over writing experience
Knowledge of multimedia storytelling and working knowledge of
online publishing systems
Highly collaborative and creative attitude
Demonstrable organizational and time management skills and the
ability to work well under tight deadlines
Must be able to lift, carry and transport production equipment on a
regular basis
Strong interest in innovative video storytelling and strategic
thinking around social media
Knowledge and interest in current events, business, financial and
technology news, especially in the cryptocurrency industry
You'll stand out if:
You have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as
Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
You have experience shooting with Canon 5D, Canon C100 and Canon
C300 in field and studio settings
A passion for cryptocurrencies and related technologies
