OVERVIEW

As our Total Rewards Analyst, you will be responsible for the administration of our compensation and health plans for both current and former employees, as needed. A day in the life might include preparing and researching job descriptions,participating third party surveys and utilize data in order to analyze competitive market research on internal and external salaries. You will also help orient new employees, work with our outside vendors and providers, spearhead open enrollment and the administrative details associated with COBRA and FSA plans. Reporting to the Manager, Benefits, you will be part of CR's People & Culture team. We are looking for someone who loves working directly with other people, enjoys problem solving and, using their experience with and knowledge of federal and local regulations and compliance requirements to ensure our programs run smoothly. This is a hybrid position. Under our CRFlex program, this position is eligible for Fully Remote status for candidates who live more than 75 miles from one of our main office locations (Yonkers, NY, Washington DC, Colchester, CT). Additionally, the successful candidate must reside in one of the following locations: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Vermont, Washington D.C.

ABOUT YOU









You'll Be Highly Rated If:

  • Experience counts. You have earned a Bachelor's Degree and have 1-2 years of benefit and compensation experience, OR 3-5 years of relevant working experience providing operational support (HR support or customer service).
  • You have a system for getting things done. You have prior experience writing and reporting within a HRIS platform (ours is UKG).
  • You know your way around a spreadsheet. You are comfortable using Excel and the Google Suite of products. You'll Be One of Our Top Picks if:
    • You're open to change. You've been part of a vendor change implementation.
    • You're process oriented. You aren't shy to speak up or ask questions if you think there's a better way to do something.
    • You are supportive. Your HR experience includes guiding others through the Leave of Absence, Short Term Disability and statutory leave programs.

      FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE









      At Consumer Reports, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The target salary range for this position is $69,800-$85,000. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will be informed by the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
