Position can be performed from any US company office location, with opportunity for office and remote work.Position Description
Provide business analytics services
such as business intelligence, data analysis and research. Interpret data and
analyze results to create visualization solutions and insights for decision
making processes to guide new opportunities for business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the Information Services team, business leaders and subject matter experts to identify opportunities for improvement using data
• Understand decision making processes, workflows, and information needs of Business Units, Project Teams, and
• Function leaders and identify ways to visualize information for insight
• Analyze large data sets by leveraging data collected within the business, industry trends and benchmarked external data, to identify trends, relationships, correlations that provide insights leading to the development of recommendations
• Ensure quality of master data in key systems, as well as develop and document processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
• Experiment using company data to test hypotheses about relationships and patterns
• Investigate discrepancies or inconsistencies in data sets
• Use data visualization tools to create analytic solutions usable by various stakeholders
• Assist in the application and implementation procedures of data standards and guidelines on data ownership, data sourcing, coding structures, and data replication to ensure access to and integrity of data sets
• Communicate the insights gained from running analytics exercises to both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Provide training and support in analytics to company leaders and staff
• Be a continuous learner to acquire new knowledge and learn new skills

  QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical, data oriented field and minimum of 4 years of work experience in business intelligence/analytics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization platformsKnowledge of SQL, experience working with relational databasesExperience working with SAP and/or Ariba platformsPrefer experience in SAP HANA Business WarehouseVery good attention to detail, persistence, and diligenceStrong communication skills, ability to explain complex problemsAbility to collaborate effectively and efficiently with IS resources and end users to identify and resolve issuesDisplay initiative, teamwork, independent thinking and decision making skillsAbility to understand and apply lean concepts
