We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Real Estate Director of Construction to oversee our real estate development/acquisition projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, architecture, and engineering, with a track record of successfully delivering high-quality, profitable projects.

As the Real Estate Director of Construction, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, including design, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement of materials and equipment. You will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction strategies and plans that align with company goals and objectives.
• Manage all aspects of the construction process, including design, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement of materials and equipment.
• Ensure that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Hire, train, and manage project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors, and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, and government officials.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in construction management and incorporate them into our projects.
• Analyze project data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on project progress, budget, and risk management. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage ambiguity.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
