Job DescriptionWarehouse AdministratorFood importer and distributor located in the Bronx, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse, focusing on data entry, order processing, and document management.Key Responsibilities:Data Entry:Accurately input and update inventory data into the warehouse management systems (WMS)Record incoming and outgoing shipments, including item details, quantities, and locations.Maintain digital and physical records of inventory levels and transactions.Order Processing:Receive and review customer orders for accuracy and completeness.Generate orders, pick lists, packing slips and BOLs.Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfilment.Verify order details against inventory availability and pricing.Printing and Documentation:Operate printing equipment to produce labels, barcodes, and shipping documents.Ensure all printed materials are legible and error-free.Maintain a well-organized system for storing and retrieving printed documents.Communication and Collaboration:Collaborate with the warehouse staff, supervisors, and sales team to resolve order-related issues.Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status and discrepancies.Record Keeping:Maintain organized and easily accessible electronic and physical records of all orders, invoices, and related documents.Assist in preparing reports on order processing and inventory levels as requested.Quality Control:Conduct periodic audits of order entry and data entry processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.Identify and report any errors or discrepancies for corrective action.Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent.Proven experience in a warehouse or administrative role, with a focus on order processing and data entry.Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.Familiarity with warehouse operations, Osha regulations, and inventory management is desirable.Salary:17.00-18.00 per hourBenefits Include: Health insurance
