We are looking to put this great technology in the hands of more
brands and 3PLs to help them grow. To help drive revenue growth,
we're looking for a supply chain Sales Engineer to join our growing
sales team. You'll be reporting directly to the Vice President of
Sales. Our team is remote and this position may reside in the U.S.
This role has three components: product preparation and
demonstration, discovery and solutioning, and administrative sales
Product Preparation and Demonstration requires attaining functional
mastery of the ShipHero application. You will be required to
understand, explain and demonstrate behaviors to prospects for 1 -
2 hour product demonstrations. An exceptional communicator, you
must convey not just "how," but also "why" a feature's design
positively impacts customer operations or achieves their strategic
Discovery, qualification, and solution description efforts are
important at ShipHero. Spanning from operations to technical
acumen, you have to arrive with experience helping customers see
our value, while alerting to and focusing on areas where the
ShipHero application will fit very well. You will also be assessing
customer requirements versus ShipHero features, candidly comparing
the two, recommending solutions and assisting the customer in
making informed choices on the utility of our application.
Administrative Sales Support includes responding to RFP/RFI
documents, narratively describing ShipHero features and processes
to prospective customers via email and discussion, and creating
pre-sales material in support of sales team efforts.
You should have:
* Speak the language of operations, quickly gaining familiarity
with terms and processes within a warehouse / distribution
* Broad experience in multiple supply chain software application
types and offerings. Ideally, you've developed integration and data
flow solutions across multiple supply chain software offerings
* You need to deeply understand ShipHero's machine-to-machine
methods (API, CSV, WebHooks, etc.), assessing and providing
credible guidance to prospective customers on capabilities and
complexity of integration efforts.
* Deeply understand the embedded value propositions for SaaS
offerings and quickly expand that knowledge into ShipHero
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational
* Team player. You will be working closely with multiple teams
