Overview: CleanChoice Energy, a national renewable energy company that empowers people and businesses to cut emissions and live cleaner, healthier lives, is seeking an enthusiastic Field Sales Specialist to join the Sales Team in Washington, DC. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing B Corp with a mission to transform the U.S. electricity market by switching homes and businesses to 100% clean, pollution-free energy. Job Description This role will be focused on selling products and services offered by our company to current and new customers. This is not a door-to-door sales position. We are working towards a world free of catastrophic climate change with pure clean air and abundant renewable energy. This role positions specialists to connect directly with the local community about mitigating climate change with clean electricity. The ideal candidate must have previous sales experience. This person will report to the Field Marketing Team Lead. Requirements Energetic self-starter, able to work independently with little or no supervision.Presentation skillsAvailability to work part-time schedules evenings and weekends.Daily access to a PC computer or smartphone with internet/email access. Responsibilities Generate sales and brand awareness through customer engagement.Present product features and benefits.Timely and accurate event reporting and communications.Take an active and ongoing role in territory development. Qualifications and Skills 1- 2 years of equivalent work experience.High School Diploma, G.E.D. Preferred Skills Experience working in renewable energy.Experience in event marketing, demonstrations, sales, brand promotion, or retail. Compensation This position offers compensation commensurate with experience and skills of $20 Hourly + uncapped commission.
