your home to a person with intellectual or developmental
disabilities who is looking for a supportive and welcoming
environment? IMPACT is seeking compassionate individuals and
families to become Community Companion Home (CCH) providers . CCH
providers are licensed through the State of Connecticut, Department
of Developmental Services (DDS) to offer nurturing, family-like
homes where people can share responsibilities, build relationships,
and grow in independence. Supported by IMPACT’s CCH department,
providers complete the licensing process, which includes extensive
training, background checks, a home study, and a fire safety
review. Once licensed, MARC and DDS carefully work to find the best
match for your household. As a CCH provider, you will receive: 24/7
on-call nursing support Oversight and guidance from IMPACT staff
Assistance with administrative and licensing requirements Ongoing
support to help your home thrive A monthly stipend for each
individual living in the home (room & board plus reimbursement for
care based on the person’s needs) By opening your heart and home,
you can make a lasting difference in someone’s life—while enriching
your own.
