Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in
Wilkes Barre, PA, supporting a local school district for an
anticipated contract from January through early June 2026. This
role offers approximately 20 hours per week, working Monday through
Friday within the school hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations and providing
direct speech and language services, with additional duties
assisting in make-up services as needed. The position supports a
caseload that requires flexibility and collaboration with
educational staff to meet student needs. Desired Qualifications: -
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a current Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) - Valid Pennsylvania state SLP
license - Experience working in school settings - Ability to manage
evaluations and deliver direct therapy services effectively -
Strong communication and organizational skills Location:This role
is based in Jim Thorpe, PA, with services delivered within the
local school district's facilities. Additional Details: - Contract
appointments will be issued in 30-day increments with potential
extension through the end of the academic year. - Candidates must
provide a current PA SLP license and a resume for consideration.
